It's Love...

I'm home. I've been off work a lot lately because my boss is out of town and since this is down time for Dahvede, we decided to go stay with my parents for a few days to relax. It's been great, but I missed my room, my bed, my closet, and my computer. Don't get me wrong, Dahvede was very accomodating and even let me use his computer for endless wedding websites and bookmark a whole stack of pages. Good Grief, the man even saved my email and facebook login info on one of the browsers so I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of re-entering it everytime. It's love.

(yes, we are THAT nerdy couple)

All that to say, I still am glad to home, late at night when it's quiet, with a drink and my own dear, faithful laptop that has MY stuff on it and has MY bookmarks and settings. Am I a complete lunatic? My fiance and little brother both have nicer, newer computers than me, but I love mine. It's been with me for so long. It's had a busted key on it since it was about two weeks old. It's got so many smudges I don't know if I could get them off if I tried. She's had tea spilt on her. She's been bumped, knocked, dropped (kinda), stood on (two year old) and yet she stays strong (mostly).

Oh dear, I just had a "you've got mail" moment. anyone remember frank? the crazy ex-boyfriend who writes columns about how in love with his type-writer he is? I just did that, huh?

OH MY GOSH! I just saw You've Got Mail for the first time Sunday night. I know I know. I really should've seen it a long time ago but anyways...I LOVE that part where she talks about his column about his type writer! I love that movie and I want to marry Tom Hanks.
