Home again home again jig-ity jig

Wow. I didn't realize how long it had been since I had blogged. Dahvede got here a week ago today. I'm a happy happy girl.

The mystery date he took me on was a visit to all the old "Memory spots" of ours in Downtown, followed by lunch at Iguacu. Yay for connections! After that we hit up a park near-by, searched desperately for public toilets, and then headed out to Kelly Tarlton's. I love Kelly Tarlton's. There's one of those awesome underwater tube's like in 50 First Dates. And a fun penguin ride thingy.

*side note* I just looked up and saw my niece putting chapstick on. Problem is it wasn't a tube of chapstick, it was a glue stick. Awesome. *end of side note*

The rest of the day we spent with friends of his parents at their home. After a 4 am start for me and 20 hours of travel and jet lag... Dahvede and I both fell asleep around 8. It was only supposed to be a 20 minute nap. Oh well. An hour later I went and woke him up and we spent the rest of the evening hanging out.

The next day we made some stops at more "memory spots" and my old hometown after breakfast with his cousin, and finally made it home in time for a 4th of July party with friends. My poor sister had been trying to get ahold of me for several hours, but the battery on my phone died so I had no idea. OOPS! I stressed my poor dear sister out so bad!

In other news, the job search continues, it's freezing here, and I need to clean my room. Happy Blogging!
